The requirement that the two (2) practitioners be from separate medical practices does not apply if the patient is homebound or if the patient had a registry identification card before the age of eighteen (18).

What Is The Registry ID Card Cost For Disabled Veterans and Disabled First Responders in Byram?

The MMCA states that the fee to apply for a qualifying patient Registry ID Card for disabled veterans or disabled first responders will be waived.

A disabled veteran or first responder may prove their disability by providing written documentation from their practitioner attesting to their debilitating medical condition, documentation from the Social Security Disability Office, or documentation that attests the applicant is a one-hundred percent (100%) disabled veteran as determined by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Your marijuanas certification is good for one year. The certification will remain current for 12 months, unless the physician specifies a shorter period of time, and will be issued only after an in-person examination of the patient in Byram MS.

A caregiver is a person aged 21 or older who is selected by the patient as someone who is authorized to obtain and possess medicinal marijuanas from state-licensed Byram Mississippi marijuanas dispensaries on behalf of the patient, as well as provide assistance with the administration of the patient medication.
