The requirement that the two (2) practitioners be from separate medical practices does not apply if the patient is homebound or if the patient had a registry identification card before the age of eighteen (18).

A caregiver is a person aged 21 or older who is selected by the patient as someone who is authorized to obtain and possess medicinal cannabis from state-licensed Natchez Mississippi cannabis dispensaries on behalf of the patient, as well as provide assistance with the administration of the patient medication.
